Dr. Willis Chung Neuro/Spine Radiologist
Dr. Chung received his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he was the winner of the Finkelstein and Bothelo scholarships. After an internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, he completed his residency in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Hospital of the University.
Dr. Chung is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology and is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. His publications concentrate on MR angiography and improved computer processing for evaluation of cerebral aneurysms. Dr. Chung lives in Denver, Colorado and enjoys photography, hiking, reading, and travel.
Dr. Douglas K. Smith Orthopedic/Spine Radiologist
Douglas K. Smith graduated from Wake Forest University Medical School. He pursued Orthopedic residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Smith’s growing research interests in MRI and hand & wrist imaging led him to pursue radiology residency training at the Mallinckrodt Institute at Washington University in St. Louis, where he continued his research and publishing and served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Smith was called to active duty during Desert Storm and served at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio. He taught residents and fellows in Orthopedics and Radiology and continued research in Orthopedic MRI. Dr. Smith has lectured extensively around the world and was inducted into the prestigious International Skeletal Society.
After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Smith joined private practice as an Interventional Spine Radiologist and became nationally recognized for perfecting the technique of percutaneous vertebroplasty and pain management procedures.
Dr. Smith’s clients include the team doctors for professional sports teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Cowboys, and the US Ski Team.
